Amundi Institute
The Amundi Institute was created to deepen the strategic dialogue with clients, and to cement Amundi’s leadership in the economic and financial research landscapes. Sitting at the heart of the global investment process, the Institute works seamlessly with Amundi’s investment platforms to produce analysis that twins an explanation of what’s going on in the economy and markets with implications for investors. Our goal is to help clients navigate an increasingly complex and rapidly changing world.
The Institute leverages on the expertise of nearly 60 dedicated professionals across 11 specialised teams in 4 broad business lines:
Since 2016, the ESSEC-Amundi Chair fosters cooperation between ESSEC and Amundi researchers, promoting academic research in asset and risk management, with a special emphasis on ESG issues. The Chair also produces a series of research letters, which are widely shared with academics, Amundi collaborators, institutional investors, and the public, and organises a series of webinars and an annual workshop on ESG-related topics. The Chair also selects relevant research to be published in the Amundi Working Paper series, and offers research seminars to Amundi collaborators.
The Amundi Institute is also among the founding members of the sustainable finance and responsible investment research Initiative FDIR, created in 2007 under the aegis of the French Association of Financial Management (AFG). Relying on the skills of research teams at the Ecole Polytechnique and Toulouse School of Economics, the Chair’s objective is to develop research methodologies to identify and integrate extra-financial criteria in the analysis of value creation, in order to better design the SRI funds offering, and the organisation of this industry.
The Institute produces a range of regular and ad-hoc publications tailored to a wide range of readers. Discover the complete set:
